What is grey blending??
Every grey blending journey is unique, depending on your starting point. Our goal is to gently remove artificial colour and seamlessly mimic your natural tones.
✨ For clients with dark, all-over colour, the first step is often a global lightening session.
✨ Next, we use micro foils to recreate the natural salt-and-pepper effect, followed by an ash toner to enhance grey tones.
Achieving your desired look may take multiple sessions, but the result is a beautifully blended, low-maintenance transition. Let’s create a plan tailored just for you!
Pricing & Session Options
The cost of your grey blending transformation depends on your starting point and the services needed to achieve your goal. We offer three transformation session options, each including:
✔️ All required lightening & colouring services
✔️ Plex protective treatment for hair health
✔️ Styling within the allotted time frame
✨ FOUR-HOUR SESSION – From $440
Suitable for for short hair (above collarbone) or partial transformations like half head only (I.e. half head of micro foils/baby lights).
✨ SIX-HOUR SESSION – From $660
Recommended for first sessions on medium length hair and density hair; book the 8hr session if your hair is long or thick. Perfect for a full head transformation with a roots-to-ends application, ends lightening or basin balayage and customized zone toning.
✨ EIGHT-HOUR SESSION – From $880
Ideal for long or thick hair, or for those with heavy colour build-up needing multiple lightening applications. Includes full head of back-to-back foils with basin lightening or double global lightening for maximum brightness.
Pricing is based on short to medium-length hair with average density. Additional time & product may be required for long or thick hair.
Maintaining Your Grey Blend
Once we’ve removed most of the artificial colour buildup and created a consistent colour pattern, we move into the maintenance phase. While this varies for each person, a typical routine includes:
✨ Tone & Trim – Every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your style. Estimated investment $140 (depending on length and density)
✨ Full or Half Head of Micro Foils, Tone & Trim – Every 3 to 6 months for a seamless blend. Estimated investment $325 to $405 (depending on length & density)
At-home care is just as important! To keep your hair looking its best, you’ll need:
✔️ A toning shampoo to maintain colour
✔️ A nourishing treatment to support hair health

Our grey blending tips
Let it grow (a little!)
Aim for 8–12 weeks of regrowth so we can clearly see your natural colour. The more natural colour we have to work with, the softer and more seamless your blend will be.
Finding your perfect tone
It can take a couple of appointments to discover the tone that best suits your complexion. You might imagine cool ash or silvery tones, but change your mind once you see them against your skin — this is completely normal. The good news? Tonal shifts are usually very easy to adjust.
Choosing the right depth
Matching your natural isn’t your only option. You might prefer to go a shade or two darker, or keep things lighter with a balayage through the ends paired with a subtle grey blend through the roots and mids. We’ll guide you to the depth that flatters you most.
You don’t have to be “all in”
If you’re not quite ready to fully embrace your greys, that’s okay! We can customise your blend to suit your comfort level. Our grey softening technique gently diffuses your greys while avoiding harsh lines and maintaining a low-maintenance grow-out.
Come with an open mind
Everyone’s starting point is unique — from natural colour to years of colour history. If you have a build-up of tint or darker colour, it may take a few sessions to lighten and remove that build-up before we can begin the true grey blending process.
